Torrevieja has three municipal libraries. The “Carmen Jalón” Municipal Library, the Barrio del Acequión Library and the La Mata Library. They are fully accessible and offer all the services required for reading and studying, as well as very flexible opening hours. There are also various reading agencies, such as the one in the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre and the Youth Information and Entertainment Centre (CIAJ).
