Torrevieja is a multicultural town with lots of festivities defined by their tradition and singularity and they have even been declared of Tourist Interest: for example the Semana Santa (Easter Week) and the May Fair, which is a true, Andalusian fair. Among the most popular fairs are those in honour of the Virgen del Carmen in July and the Patron Saint’s Festivities in honour of the Immaculate Conception in December.
