Virgen del Rocio
The town becomes the stage for religious fervour and devotion every year during the middle of June when the celebrations are held to honour the Virgen del Rocío. More specifically, a pilgrimage takes place together with various other events, such as mass, equestrian activities, children’s games, etc. The starting point is the area of Lo Ferris, where the "Blanca Paloma" (the Rocio Virgin) is taken to the San Roque y Santa Ana Parish, where she is sung a hymn. |
