The province of Alicante can be reached via two different lines: Alicante-Madrid, which connects with the north of Spain and Alicante-Barcelona, which connects with Europe.

The El Altet Airport (Alicante) connects with the main European cities and is only 30 minutes away. Also 30 minutes away is San Javier Airport (Murcia), which connects with a large number of European capitals. The Manises Airport (Valencia) complements the town’s excellent access, although it is further away than the previous two.

Torrevieja connects with Europe via the A-7 Mediterranean Motorway (E-15 European itinerary). It also has a network of additional roads based on the N-340 and N-332, joining the city with other nearby tourist towns.

Only 45 minutes from Torrevieja is the Port of Alicante, one of the most important cruise ship bases in the western Mediterranean. Not forgetting the Port of Cartagena (Murcia), situated more southerly and at practically the same distance; another important base for international cruise ships.
